Many Quebec businesses, organizations, and political bodies want to get involved in the movement for economic reconciliation with Indigenous <\/span>p<\/span>eoples<\/span> … but they don<\/span>\u2019<\/span>t know how to go about it. Where to start<\/span>?\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

With a commitment! The <\/span>GECIPQ<\/span> considers a commitment to be an action whose <\/span>ultimate goal<\/span> is to restore Indigenous <\/span>people\u2019s<\/span> rightful place in Quebec<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s economy<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Indigenous Peoples have long remained on the margins of economic and social development in Quebec, which has particularly prevented them from exercising their right to development in accordance with their own needs. The socioeconomic context in which Indigenous Peoples currently find themselves does not allow for eliminating the enormous gap that separates the living conditions of Indigenous Peoples from those of Quebecers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

All Quebec civil society organizations and businesses are invited to become allies<\/span> a<\/span>nd, in doing so, become active players in economic reconciliation with Indigenous <\/span>p<\/span>eoples<\/span>!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
